I doubt Acura has a V8 coming for anything. Honda and Acura has really fell off n the last few years at innovating and creating best designs, and great cars. I still feel 305 HP is a little weak for the class the TL is in vs the Infiniti G37 and others.

@ 330-hp the G37 is just a tad faster than the TL SH-AWD, that tells me you are losing quite a bit of power. Also Acura's quality is superior and reliability. Sure the Infin's look a bit snazzy if your into the more feminine lines on a car, but I wouldn't say Acura is so far behind. V-8 sales aren't on the rise as many think. Honda/Acura didn't take a hit when others had to retool V-8 plants or completely shut them down. Just as in the fashion world there are trends so are there in the auto industry. I recall when Saab and Mitsubishi were hot with their turbos. I purchased a Conquest TSi however look where that sector is and look were the V-Tec is. Heck look at Saab, that's sad.
True there is no substitute for displacement, it would be nice if Honda/Acura built a V-8 strictly for performance and in limited numbers. I'm not sure if the revenue generated would offset production cost. Oh don't get me wrong I'd luv to get in that rocket ship if they every created one.

I would love to see that. Because when they created the first one it was an astonishing achievement...the balance alone was incredible.

Since sales are dramatically down for the 4th gen you can get a good deal!

This is where I'm torn. I want to hold out for better styling - maybe the MMC or even the 5G, but if those come out looking awesome, then there goes the deep discount. Plus, as my current 3G is almost at 150,000 miles, I need to have a "backup plan" just in case something goes bad with this car.
