No discounts?
I'm in AZ, there seems to be no discounts in all the dealerships. Or is everyone just playing their cards close?
Two closest dealerships in LA (CA) 500+ miles away is willing to give me $4,000 off (without asking.) Been watching MDX listings for months, and that seems to be the pattern.
The easy answer to drive the 500 miles. I have not step into the dealership yet with check book and pen yet. Just wondering why there seems to be such a difference between states? Neighboring states.

I have a 2020 MDX-ASPEC and went to the dealer to switch it to 2024 model as I prefer the trackpad over touchscreen. Sadly, no proper discounts available yet. But I have a good feeling by October -December, Acura will give $8-$10 (CAD) discounts on those 2024 models. That will eb the time, that I will switch to A-SPEC 2024
I don't think this will help the OP (in AZ), but here in NC, I got an email last week offering $7K off all leftover 2024 MDX models. I just picked up a Type-S Advance, and it qualified for the discount (which made it worthwhile to me). So there are definitely dealers looking to move the '24s off the lot. (The dealership I worked with -- Leith Acura -- had just gotten a '25 in stock.) Good luck shopping!

I contacted 3 dealers and they are offering me CAD$3.5K and 1% reduction in rate as loyalty. That doesn't do for me. I want like my 2020 MDX Purchase...i got CAD$9K discount!!! That might never happen again, but if i get $7.5K, I will close the deal on an A-SPEC!
Congrats on your new purchase! Good news

If it helps, I just picked up a 2025 MDX Advance in Canyon Blue (with a few accessories like mudguards, wheel locks and cargo cover). The dealer took over my 2022 RDX Advance lease with only 8k miles and 6 months left of an $818/month lease. I paid $68k including taxes and fees. That equated to an approximately $62k purchase price.
In 2025 yes! But I am aiming to grab a 2024 ASPEC to replace the 2020 ASPEC, if they reduce the pricing. I personally like the touchpad over touchscreen and ELS is sufficient for me. If I get a discount of CAD$7.5K, there is no reason for me to get the 2025. If no discount, then sure, I will get the latest version.

Let's see as I am not in rush. I still love our 2020 ASPEC. one of the reasons, I would switch is the 2nd row middle seat...it's removal and I love that feature.
It is very convenient to have, but the seat mount points are exposed when you remove it. They make a "cover" for that section, and though it works, it's super flimsy and cheap feeling/looking.
The "pass-through" advantage for Captain's Chairs only makes sense if getting to the third row takes a relative eternity as it does on the 3-row German luxury brands.
My memory of the 2nd row fold was that it was relatively quick on the MDX as I believe it was hydraulic instead of electronic (at least on my prior '18 MDX).
Pics I've seen of the "Captain's Chairs" look on current MDX didn't look all too impressive to me as it never look "finished" and more like a band-aid. My 2011 Sienna had a cleaner 2nd row look after the middle seat was removed (see example pic)!

Just bought a new 24' Type-S in Alberta. The final OTD price is $85k CAD (~ $63k USD). Before 5% tax and the $2k rebate from Acura Canada, the price was a bit less than $82.9k. Since MDX is made in US, there shouldn't be any duty when imported to US.
I think I will wait it out to consider a 25 MDX Type S (or a A-Spec Advance) to replace my Lease on a 22 MDX Advance - I extended the lease until Feb 2025 at the same $610 monthly payment. The Buyout reduces to $35,400 for my MDX with only 22K miles on it (by then). My intension (for now anyway) is to Buy out my MDX - all cash (gotta use my RMDs [for those that don't know what an RMDs are....It is the Required Minimum Distribution from Pension accounts required to be taken at age 73, and every year thereafter] for something being 73 this year). Unless I opt for a Mazda CX-70? Or a new 25 MDX mentioned above. Or Just keep my 22 MDX Advance which has been Trouble Free for over 3 years!. The New Touchscreen is Tempting so are the Massaging seats too; the new B&O probably sounds great - but IMHO there is nothing wrong with the delightful ELS system in my MDX. For the financial minded ... If I leave the $35,400 (Plus Taxes , call it $39K total ) in the "bank" (CD , etc), the return on those funds would offset the new lease costs on a new 25 MDX. It's the old adage Lease Vs. Buy. I consider that I'm 73, the wife is 71 (she has and loves her 16 CRV Touring). Leasing gets her "Stuck" if something should happen to me. Owning te MDX would at least allow her to trade it in and get the cash (after more depreciation). Or I can say... You Only Live Once and get what You Want!! [The 25 Type S is winking at me too).
Did anyone get any special discount in Canada for 2024 models?
I found a few 2024 A-SPECs but the prices are not down...$2.5K discount only. I am waiting for $7.5K+ discount
I like the TTI over touchscreen, so 2024 works well for me! Any of my Canadian friends here can share their recent purchase experience?

TonyPac, I thought you were going to wait until December to make your Move?? Regardless, Congrats on your new 2024 MDX A-Spec!! Per my previous posts, my Acura dealer continues to "hound" me about a new 25 MDX Advance with new Incentives from Acura!! He is trying to tempt me to solicit my business to replace the 22 MDX lease which i extended. Although you prefer the TTIP, I do not. I say that w/o seeing the new Touch screen - so I should reserve my opinion. I'm not fond of the elimination of the Sirius/XM radio head unit, but I am enticed by the massaging Seats, and the aforementioned Touch Screen and the redesigned Console. The touted B & O sound system is less of an incentive because the ELS system is outstanding to me anyway.
Funny enough I got a call from my sales rep at Burrard Acura in BC. I've included a coles note version of our conversation.
-he said this sale happens once a year, he was trying to make it sound super rare but they have it every year lol
-he was saying it would be a lease extension and was interested in doing a "key swap" for my 2023 RDX for a new one
-he said he would keep my payment the same or similar, but did not talk any numbers specifically
-I told him I was interested but would be more interested in getting into an MDX instead
-With two kids now, putting a stroller in our RDX basically takes up the whole trunk without space for much else
-I also just happened to drive a 2022 MDX Elite two days ago and was very impressed with the drive and quality of the vehicle.
-Its considerably a better drive than the RDX, I'm guessing it got to do with the longer wheel base and suspension components
So I'm still waiting to hear back from him about specific numbers. My RDX has just under 29,000 km on it. My only guess is the residual on these vehicles is high enough for them to resell and make a considerable amount on them, not to mention RDX is by far their best seller.
If he gets back to me with decent numbers, I will likely take my RDX in on Wednesday and see if we can reach a deal....

Just an update on this....
Currently working on finalizing a deal with my local dealer...here is some of the info my sales guy shared
-Initially he offered a 2024 MDX DEMO for 491/month - mileage was not known at the time - 16k/year (that 491/month will likely easily be 450.month)
-I may explore financing offers on this model...
-I asked to have a new vehicle, as getting into a DEMO is not worth it for me since we were discussing leases....
-He then found a ASPEC blue pearl 2024 model, that worked out to 510-520/month. 16k/year
-This is appealing to me, but will negotiate further as I know they have wiggle room and want old models off the floor and out of the lot
Wife wants a different color, and ASPEC blue is not a bad color, but I agree that it might be too loud for us....

Agreed on the ASPEC blue especially with that red interior......NG for me. What color is the demo? Is it an Advance ? If you own it, no more worries about mileage too.
