Looking for pics of this installed..

 

Check out the pics here. I think you can tell the add-ons as they don't quite match the color of the rest of the car.

Not attractive IMO. Maybe the lighting? Might look better in a glossy black, or to match the black of the grill.

 

Not good to look at at all. Probably much better if these add-on pieces are body color matched.

 

That's a hard pass for me! Don't like at all!

 

That yellow shipping strip left on Dodge Chargers front bumper looks better than this. I will be interested in how many people do get it though.

 

What was Acura thinking not offering these in color matched paint, or even glossy black since that seems to be all the rage for accent pieces these days?

Though I suppose we should be glad they're offered at all, as they can still be painted aftermarket.

This is almost as bad as those red accent stripes on the Civic Type R and certain Nismo and Subaru Forester models.

 

Maybe the R&D folks told someone it was hip to insert a pop of color! A la HGTV! This is supposed to be Acura's reach into luxury. That look won't do it.

 

I was just at the dealer this weekend looking at the 2022 MDX and several Acura models had these lip and rear spoilers (ILX, TLX, and MDX). All were...WTF.

Fugly, fugly, fugly...please don't do this to your Acura vehicle.

 

An owner in another thread blacked out his MDX and his front/rear spoilers don't look too bad when properly matching color.

 

That's a big NO from me as well... They don't enhance the look, to me, at all

 

I think these add-on trims look ugly. I also don't understand about making the car "lower" as it's an SUV.

 

Yeah I saw that. The little Formula 1 winglet things look cheesy IMO, but body colored (esp in black) looks "not bad"...for me, I'd spend my money elsewhere, but I understand we all have different things that float our boat.
