Who has the rear wing spoiler on their tsx, whats the point?/+metal-trim

is it worth getting the rear wing spoiler through acura or somewhere else. other then looks what does it do, does it accully help with rear downforce? i know it looks nice but im really trying to keep my tsx in my budget. Also is the metal trim worth it i dont exactly know what it is or looks like. the aluminum comes standard so what is it? i have tried searching

The spoiler is purely for looks. Did you plan on driving your TSX over 100mph on a daily basis?

The TSX is not a fast car nor a sports car.

I would get the spoiler not the metal kit. I personally don't like when people overdue it with metal (i.e Nissan's) or wood trim (Old GM cars) in the interiors. I actually don't think there is an aerodynamic advantage. Actually it may hamper rear airflow since the spoiler doesn't have much verticle and is more horizontal.

I got it cause I like the car with it. There aren't many TSXs around with it.

I wouldn't bother with the Acura one - I bought mine from the dealer (because I thought they would be installing it in their bodyshop and thought it would be faster - Acura part - should have atleast one in stock). But I found out that they installed an aftermarket one from another company. So I paid the Acura price for an aftermarket part - PISSED OFF.

JMO - Get an aftermarket and pay half the price.

I got my TSX used and it came with a spoiler and metal trim kit. I like them both.
