I think the Varianzas look better but im a little biased hehehe. Ever considered painting your Works like a nice broze or dark gold? I had that idea for a while but my wheels are too new to paint for now.

LOL. I hear ya. Regarding powdercoating them, I might consider it in the future, but for two things. One, the funds aren't right. Two, check my sig!

like comparing strawberries to tomatoes..... hard to compare dude

work is for looks, as they have lips, and is up there with the VIP look

Enkei is strictly weight reducted, their designs aren't as fancy as work but will let you fly.

So VIP or JDM? I'd stick with the works dude..

Works vs. Enkeis? It's not even close. Not to mention that I don't think time attack belongs on TLs.

it's the complete opposite style wise...

but which time attack rpf1 you getting... only the 18x8.5 +30 is the only available in black and you'd custom paint a red pinstripe on there

DO NOT POWDERCOAT RPF1... they will shatter first bump you hit

6 or 7 people spread out across the country is considered played out?

I'd go with the rpf1's.......love the look of the black on black and that stripe sets it off nicely. I like Ronjon's time attack legends better though

Pricenlybug dont get discouraged thou, i prefer the Varianzas but the rpf1's are hot too. They give the TL an agressive blacked out look that i love.

How can it be played out when theres only like 3 people who own them? Aznbo's parting out his car, Stillhere parted out his car, and Bforbrian got aspecs. To be honest, the only ones I know of that own rpf1's now are me and Princelybug (the two Scotts LOL). The only other person I know of that still MIGHT have rpf1's on a TL don't even come around this forum anymore cause he's banned.

Might as well call te37's played out, or even varianzas played out.

I've heard powdercoating can weaken the wheel, due to the heat involved in the process. I've also heard that powdercoating is fine.

They were mounted properly, but just put on the car the wrong way. All that needed to happen was that the passenger side tires had to be transferred over to the driver's side, or vice versa. No big deal.

Hmmm, if overheating is the problem, maybe the powdercoaters can heat it at a lower temp? I've heard of this problem too, and I remember reading that if it's above a certain temp, it can damage the wheel.

Something to do w/ enkei's forging process and pc requiring baking compromises integrity n durability
