I don't understand your story.
You are buying it? You are selling it?
You are criticizing the amount of wheel gap a sports car comes with?
No Nintendo.

well, you would have to understand Chad's history and his love of wheel gap.
it spans like 10 years ago...

just like how I finally got the aspec kit and sent pics to a friend...dude laughed at me and was like ...that shit was hot.....8 years ago.

TL;DR
No one cares, lmao.

I dont have a "love" for wheel gap. It's mostly all a delusion anyway.
Because what looks like a lot of wheel gap close up, may not be too much at all. The full side shot of that corvette doesn't look peculiar at all.
So, maybe if I think my wheel gap is too much, maybe I am just standing too close? How do I know? Maybe I should backup? haha
Nobody really knows because I see BMW 3 series on the road and they look low. But when I pull up next to them and sit there at a stop light, and look closer,
then, I see more gap. Like exactly like mine.. but yet that bimmer looks like a low rider.
So, maybe we're all delusional? How do we know?
I mean if I walk away from my car and it looks low, Then should I just forget about it? haha
Only this TL makes me do this.. I never had this issue with my camaros. I just got some eibachs and was done.

Nevertheless, I may be raising the front this weekend. Since I can't tell.
And painting my wheels (dark steel)
And changing the front compliance bushings when the spring is off.. I plan on cutting 1/4 to 1/3" off the bottom of an OEM type-S automatic spring. (for my 05 automatic)

I have eibachs now, and the rear is not that low. I like the rear being lower in respect to the front.
And that reminds me.
Remember way back when people with eibachs had a "saggy rear end"? Remember those statements? Well, eibach must have been listening because I think my front end is slightly lower than the rear, now!
I actually, like the rear a tad lower the front. So the perspective is off. So rather than messing with the rears, i may just raise the front since I want to ride a bit softer anyway. My car on the front looks almost like a Civic.. because its soo short.. haha When I parked at Michaels arts and crafts the other day, I coudnt even see my car behind other normal sedans.. I was like, where is my car! Oh there it is... too dang short!

That's about how much wheel gap I have on my 4G after getting new OEM coils and dropping 200lbs.

Is your wheel gap somewhere in between the wheel gap of these two vehicles?

Back in my 3G days I did some crazy ass things to lighten up. Google site:acurazine.com tl diet if you want to learn more. The guy who did it did some extreme modifications to lighten up his TL.

I kept it modest for the 4G. Spare tire, jack and other accessories, lightweight battery, engine plastic trim, front and rear bumper reinforcements, lightweight wheels, lightweight crank pulley, floor mats (except driver side), dummy pedal, under dash plastic panels, high-flow cats (each about 4 lbs lighter than stock), magnaflow mufflers (lighter than stock), underbody plastic, muffler and resonator heat shields, under trunk plastic. A bunch of other things I can't recall. I have two totes full of parts I can put back on when (if ?) I sell the car.
