Lower control arm rubber bushing is cracking

hi. I discovered the lower control arm rubber bushing has a crack. Is a super bonding glue can fix this?

Probably it costs arms and legs to have it replaces at the dealer. How hard is it to do it yourself?

Have you tried searching? It's called compliance bushings and a lot of people have DIY'd them. https://www.google.com/search?q=diy+...hrome&ie=UTF-8

There's also an EXCELLENT how to: https://acurazine.com/how-tos/a/acur...ushings-423775

There are a total of 2 bushings on the lower control arm.

You can either replace them by removing the LCA and taking it to a auto body shop and have them press out the bushing and put new ones in
OR
buy new control arms. You will have to do both sides even if one is broken.

Just note removing the lower ball joint is going to be a bitch if you've never done it before and if you do tackle this job just make sure to buy lower ball joints.

In my case, I ended up replacing both lower control arms.

The lower ball joint is not part of the LCA but they connected together?

That is correct. The ball joint is pressed in to the knuckle.
