Question Where is the TPMS RECIEVER LOCATED?

2 days ago I got a system error on my dash board to check tpms system, I turned the car off and turned back on and it went away. Next morning it came right back on and it's been on since.

It's not showing any psi on any of the tires. I figured I give it a shot and try replacing the reciever unit, ill buy a used one and see if it works.

I have been searching all over and can't find we're is it located inside the car. PLEASE HELP ME.....

Dont have tpms on my 05 TL, but when we bought my wifes 06 Caddy SRX in 2011, a message displayed on her navi screen at every startup. No psi readings on any tires, so I ordered new tpms sensors and replaced all four. Now everything works like it should.

The batteries do wear out eventually (5-7 years life expectantcy iirc). What year is your TL?

I checked the fuse and it was good, I saw that diagram but it doesn't show were its located..
I'm guessin it might be around the back seat....from looking at it ...but I'm not sure....

I was hoping someone on here has had similar issue like this....

yeah, I cant say if all of ours quit working all at the same time because we bought it used. None were working when we bought it so i replaced them. Hope you can get this figured out.

Call the dealership and see if they will tell you were the reciever is located.

just noticed this too CLICK HERE

If your trying to figure out why your getting a tpms fault or some type of signal you might need to have the sensors scanned and reset.(sensors are inside the rims) the signal is sent somewhere in the dash. If one of the battery's are dead you will know because it will not scan. If you are near a discount tire co. Just take it in we'll check it for free.

I just had this exact thing happen to my type-s! It turned out to be one bad sensor. I just had to replace the one bad sensor in my right rear tire and everything now works like it should.

That's good to know....I actually bought a used tpms reciever last night on eBay .....I'm going to replace it and see what happens.

The guy I bought it from helped me out and told me its located right rear behind the seat!.....so I'm going to give it a shot.

i have 2 pairs of tpms spare but I will be using them with my new wheels...hope something works..

So, what happened?

I too am getting the error. But, mine's intermittent. Sometimes it works great. Sometimes it says one of my wheels has 50 something psi in it. Sometimes it has the lines and gives me the error.

The diagram in the link shows it in the left quarter area. I would assume behind the trunk liner.
