TPMS Ques.

Will it warn you when you have a flat tire or under-inflated tire? Someone parked next to me this morning had one and I was surprised they noticed it before driving. Wondered if there was some sort of warning system.

The TPMS will "alarm" at something like 20% or 25% below recomended tire pressure, which is 32 psi.

TPMS will set off at around 25 PSI, the dealer can change it though.

Mine sounds at 28 psi. Had it happen last week during a very cold morning. Well, like 40 degrees. Maybe it went off because all four tires were at 28/29

'08 Tl-S TPMS question for new owner

I am new to the Tl as well as new to any car with a TPMS. I live in NY and as those who live here know it has been very cold the last oh week or 2. My TPMS has been going off regularly in the morning. It is only for the 2 front tires (either both at the same time or first left, then will chang to right). When it happens I view the screen and the pressure is like 28, 27, 29 (keeps changing). When it gets warmer (like today) I get no warning but the pressure is still at like 29 or 28. I want to know if it is normal for it to happen now that is is very cold and if I should leave the pressure as is or keep filling it up when I get the warning first thing in the morning when the car is cold.

I'd say that it's normal. In colder temperatures, the air contracts making it less pressure in the tire. As soon as you drive it for a few minutes, the air warms up, expands, and you'll be in the acceptable range.
