Tein SS setting

I'm planning to install my tein SS coilovers this week and i was hoping what everyone has their setting on? Hoping i can install them just once and not have to go back and fourth setting the dampers.

I'm looking for more of a stock comfy ride setting, thus the reason why I'm swapping out my function and form for tein SS.. Thanks let me know what you guys have it set too and how it feels

isnt the whole process ABOUT setting up your OWN settings?
if i had dampers, I would constantly play with the settings until it felt right TO ME.

noobs.

In terms of the ride height I'd go with TEIN's recommended settings.

In terms of damping, I'd do 12 clicks from full stiff. However, leave your strut bar and your back seat out for a few hours and drive around. This way you can adjust the damping easily. Then, when you've found the setting you like, reinstall the strut bar and back seat.

why so hostile?

OP, I originally went right in the middle all around (think 8 clicks) then toned it to be little stiffer in back for the subs. Handles quite nice paired with progress rear sway bar.

As mentioned, just keep the rear seats off until you figure out what you like best. If I were to do it all over again, I'd diff add the EDFC.

Sometimes, I cant express my self in words
but basically gave the same advice as you and Josh(excelerate).
the whole point of being adjustable is to set up the car to how you like it.

thought this was cool.

check out tein's website and you can download the manual. however, i don't think they actually have a recommended setting on ride height, only for the damping 'standard' value. they have reference values though.

anyway, i have mine set at 8 clicks (which is the standard value) and took about 1.5 months to settle and get used to (forgot how lowered cars drive-been awhile) . i'm considering adjusting it softer but am just waiting for a good time to do the self testing since you have to remove the rear seats.

90% of the time I have mine on full stiff, but that's just what I like. I have EDFC so if a road is particularly bad I can switch it immediately. I think full soft feels pretty good too, I like being able to feel every part of the road though.

the point i'm trying to make is...that everyone has their own individual settings.
what may feel comfortable to one, might not feel comfortable to you.
the best thing to do is play around with it, trial and error.
