Shocks Install

Has anyone installed their own shocks and springs? I don't want to lower the vehicle I just want some good shocks and springs for a reasonable price and it would be nice if anyone on here has pictures as well as instructions. I've learned a lot from this site and I've improved the performance of my vehicle dramatically. I have never changed my shocks or springs and I have 181K on my vehicle. Any info received would be greatly appreciated.

mr. tiger there a lot of options to go with here.

check out:
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/
and
http://store.excelerateperformance.com/

to see what option you have with springs.
they offer anything from 1.5 to 2 inch drops.

they also sell shocks.

oh shit, just read your post again. saying that you dont want a drop.

there's a lot of debate on whether or not shocks have a mileage limit.
if the shocks arent leaking, and are not bouncing around everywhere then they are still considered to be fine and usable.

however, if you would like to change them, you certainly can go OEM.

it's definitely easier with the aspec set since the shock/spring/tophat units are already pre-assembled and you don't have to deal with a spring compressor.

If you don't want to lower your car you have to get factory springs. If you want a good set of shocks to go with it I'd recommend the TOKICO HTS shocks or the KONI Yellow shocks.
