^ Ideally I want close-ended lugs. Those that you linked are HOT! I think you just changed my mind and saved me some cash. However, I do want the Muteki titanium finish instead.... and hopefully a set of locks that sorta match.

i'm going to grab a set mcgard spline drive lugs, they're guaranteed not to peel, rust, or chip. you can find them here: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=400067

the only thing with those muteki sr35's is that they are pretty tiny compared to some other types. the blue closed ended ones would look hot with the right wheels though.

I've changed my mind. After looking at some pictures on the RJ site, I've decided I do like the open-end lug look

^ Yeah well, my calipers are painted RED and my rims are dark gray. I think BLUE lugs would be a little too much color.

Before seriously splurging, I picked up some Muteki SR48s to test out the open, extended look. I think it looks hot!

I need some wheels locks that match my "titanium chrome" Muteki SR48s.

Anyone know of any extended wheel locks??

Hey guys newb question here... are getting 'brand' lugs that important? Or are you guys just discussing the look of them? I mean does spending money on more expensive lugs have any functional advantages (other than keeping the wheel on)? I got a set of RJ lugs with my last set of rims, but now that I have some newer shoes should I buy new lugs?

gatdammit, i usually change my lugs when i change wheels to make sure i have the right seat type. i think the stock acura rims and also ronjons are ball seat and pretty much most aftermarket are cone seat.

$35-$75 motegi/gorilla/mcguard lugs work just as well as $150 project kics but the kics are gonna have a nicer finish and are going to be lighter. i think the rotational weight u would save isn't worth it because you'd be better off getting some lightweight wheels instead.

Length.

I think the SR35s are 35mm long and the SR48s are 48mm long.

Old thread I know but I want your opinion guys, YES YOU!

NBP TL with gunmetal A-specs - what color lugs would you go with??

I was thinking something blueish...since the NBP has a little bit of dark blue in it. Anyways all opinions welcome and appreciated!

eBay?

I know we need 12x1.5 conical lugs so I've just been Googling around.

Any recommendations?
if you have aftermarket wheels then your spec's are okay but if you're sporting OE's then they are ball seat - not conical seat. sorry if someone already pointed this out...i didn't have time to read the whole thread.

i can't say for sure but i'd imagine the type-s wheels also are ball seat. if this is the case you have the wrong lugs on them (i.e. the lugs aren't seating properly). you might wanna check this out. might take awhile but eventually the lugs could loosen up.

obviously if your type-s wheels are conical seat...keep rockin' the same lugs.

Ive read through this thread (and done some searching) and it seems my question is still unanswered

Will my stock lugs work with a-spec wheels? (even if they do, is something else better that someone could suggest, but not $150)

Are gorilla locks a lug nut as well, or to they go over the lug nut?

http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automo...5076652&sr=8-2 ...they look smaller than the lugs, so it will look weird, or is that expected?

If I'm envisioning this properly (and am prolly not), i'd have 3 oem lugs, 1 oem lug/lock, and 1 gorilla lock on each wheel....do i have that right?

Thanks!!
