Need info with TPMS On TL 05 rims

Hi all,

Hi have a TL type S 07 and i bought some TL 05 5 spoke rims. I want to know if i can install TPMS on that rims. I know they don't come with TPMS. I go check the fit in a acura dealer. The things that bugging me is the TPMS from a TL type s once installed is loose. So i'm affraid the TPMS will be damage once a day. Is someone of you run these rims with TL TPMS? Did you do something special for the installation?

Sorry for my english guys i come from quebec

Thanks

I have pre-06 factory rims as my winter set, and TPMS monitors fit easily and without any modifications to the rim.

Short answer...yes.

hi,

thanks for the reply. Did you install yourself the TPMS in the rims? Once the TPMS is scread, the unit inside the rims is it free? Cause the TL TPMS is swevel about the things we use to put air in the rims.

Thanks

They are solidly mounted- Goodyear did it for me and it was apparently no big deal for them, no swiveling or movement noted.

They do fit, yes, but the spacing around the valve stem from '06 wheels on is 'supposed' to make removing and installing the TPMS sensors easier.

Hi guys,

You are right, it's fits. The swiveling was because the guys at acura doesn't scread the vavle properly on the TPMS

Thanks for your helps
