Need Help.

I've found a set a Axis Hiros for sale that I'm hopefully going to end up getting.

They're 19x9.5 (f) and 19x10.5 (r) with a +30 offset. I've got a buddy that will let me have his tires that are 235/35/19 and 245/35/19.

I'd like to know if they'll clear the Brembos and also what all I'd have to get them to fit. Would it be a simple fender roll and maybe pull or would I have to do something else?

I have no expertise to give on your question, but those should look pretty sweet if you can fit em. 10.5 rear is pretty damn big tho, can't think of many people running them. Other issue I see is no ability to dial in fitment without coilovers.

Regardless, I think they sound sweet if you end up rocking them. What color are they?

Aren't Anakalia's (sp?) rims like 10 or 10.5 all around? She has that fitment down to a science, looks perfect.

Holy shit, didn't remember that tire size. That's probably why I like the look so much, beefy tire instead of stretched. Ross - figure out what she had to do to get that to work and you'll be golden

And Justin - convince her to sell the wheels to me

They've been powedercoated gunmetal.

And thanks for the help. Will I have to do anything in the way of camber kits?

Nice! I was hoping you weren't going to say silver.

Again, I'm far from any expert at this, but with wheels that wide, I'm guessing you might need them front and rear.

our natural camber is for an 8 inch wide rim.
I'm no expert either; but I'm assuming the natural camber will poke these out too much.

I kind of like the poked look so I may wait until after I get them put on to see if I need one.

Also, I have no idea about how offsets work so will these clear my front Brembos?

You shouldn't have any clearance issues with +30 offset.

That was what I was worried most about.

With the wheel sizes that the Hiros are, is the camber kit just so they don't poke or is it so they'll actually fit?

Usually you get a camber kit to have the ability to adjust the camber and/or to help with aggressive wheel/tire fitments. Unless you plan on being very slammed, I don't think you'll have any issues with rubbing without a camber kit.

For fender purposes, you may need to dial in negative camber for clearance is what I'm thinking. Will depend on your drop, which in your case isn't adjustable, which will potentially complicate things.

Says the guy with Aspecs. Jk. Haha. Specs>Wheels

Thanks for the help John. I think I'll look into a camber kit a little later so I can have these wheels laying sideways. Lol

You will definitely need a fender roll. You don't need a fender pull.

You might rub in the fronts with a 235/35 tire depending on how low you are.

You might need a 225/35 tire for the fronts depending if you want to run less camber in the fronts.

I also recommend you picking up a camber kit for the rear. You're going to need about -2.5 to -3 in the rears depending how flush/pokey you want it to be.

Maybe I said that wrong. I meant that an okay looking wheel, like the Hiros, can look even better with nice specs. Conversely, a nice wheel ,like Q's TE's, I don't think look a nice because of the specs.

And thanks for the help everyone.

One more question. Does anyone know if the stock lugnuts will work with these wheels or will I have to buy new ones?

What are the specific type of lugs or sizes so I'll know what to pick up at Summit tomorrow?

12x1.5 with an acorn/conical seat meant for aftermarket wheels. no ball seats.

like these for example.

+1 for Muteki lugs. I have them, they fit in my wheels fairly snug, the F14's have narrow (sockets?).
