Issue Getting Lug Nuts off

I have the following lug nuts:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/261479819765?lpid=82
I have XXR530's. Like an idiot despite some people saying not to get these lugs with these rims I still did and now I cannot get them off without chipping the interior of the rims where the lugs go.

Any advice or other options to get them off?

advice - listen to other people next time when they advise you to not buy something. They probably learned themselves and tried to save others from going through the same trouble.

Also the TL is 12 x 1.5 the one you linked are 1.25??

I literally had this same problem two days ago. I was able to get around it somewhat by not putting the lug key all the way to the base of the lug. That helped a little.

The whole reason I was taking my wheels off was to put hub centric rings on. I noticed that when I was taking my wheels off before they had the rings on, they were obviously not sitting perfectly centered on the lugs or hub. That caused extra pressure on some of the lugs due to uneven distribution of the wheel weight. Once I put the rings on and the wheel was centered, there was much less grinding/chipping.

So my question is, do you have hub centric rings. If not, I highly recommend it. Makes for a much better ride too.

Also, I was advised by many people to purchase these lugs. So, advice can be misleading sometimes...

I meant they are the same brand and everything. Mine are 1.5 not 1.25. I did not see everyone saying not to get them until I hard already bought them.

did you buy the set with all non-locking lugs, or the set that includes 4 locks? the locks for sure won't work in the xxrs and i know i mentioned that a few times in that xxr thread.

i also had some posts saying what diameter socket key will and will not work. maybe you have a socket key that's inbetween those numbers i posted. i did TONS of research on lugs/locks that fit these wheels
