How about that snow storm. Suggestions needed!
Well Im from jersey but thankfully traveled up to Connecticut for the weekend to visit my cousin. Well I hear we were hit hard in jersey and CT was not that bad. NYC got nothing at all since snow really never sticks considering its boiling under ground. I had to back my car out of a down hill curvy driveway today and had No issues till i got to the top car would not budge!
Had to move forward and speed back a few times to get out. over it.
Driving around on the wet was no issue but I'm still not a fan of this car not moving in the snow stuff. came from an A4 where i didn't have to shovel my self out i was able to drive rite through everything..
anyone in the try state have issues? Not looking forward to winter. And want winter tires. i heard of these little things that give u traction u pretty much velcro them around the tires and it makes them better..
Any suggestions to come real winter tires?
Install and stuff like that is no problem and whatever the price is is fine because ill get em wholesale!
thanks in advance

They are costy though, leaving me $1300 shorter in my wallet.
I'm in Canada though, where tires cost a fortune and the tax rates don't help.

If you want something cheap, and VERY good in snow/ice, I'd recommend the General Altimax Arctic. I think I got them for ~$115 apiece on tirerack. They wear very well, and provide excellent traction in some pretty hairy situations.
Downside is, they make the car feel sloppy when the roads get warm and dry. I couldn't wait to put my Pilot Sport A/S back on at the end of last winter.
