if that's THE ONLY tire that is rubbing; your left rear suspension is SHOT, done for, finished.
that left rear shock must not have enough compression/rebound allowing the tire to hit the fender.
that is if that's the only one doing it.

IF the left rear shock is done and once you replace it, you might wanna roll & possibly pull your rear fenders before you plan to lower it. I would've went with a 235/40 size tire..Originally Posted by justnspace

you're swapping out a bad shock for a new shock.

Im confused. Even with a blown strut you shouldn't have any issues with those specs.
