Good Tires For '04 TL M/T?
Bought an 04 TL manual trans about a year and a half ago, and I haven't changed the tires since then. Car came from Florida, so the tires are performance in the summer, not during the winter in Ohio...
I've heard this TL generation drives awesome in the snow with good tires.
To my question....
I need good All-Season tires. Quiet riding, also.
I was looking at the Michelin Primacy MXM4
OR
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Both are all season, Primacy seems a little nicer for only around 20$ more each tire. Anyone use these tires, or any recommendations for other tires? Trying not to spend over 200$ each.

Continental Extreme Contact DW's or DWS (if you're in a snow region).
DW=Dry Wet
DWS=Dry Wet Snow

Assuming Ohio gets more snow than Missouri, Pilot Sports are not the correct tire for you. They do OK in the snow here in KC for the most part, but we usually only have 2-3 snow events per season. Mine were brand new last fall and last winter here was brutal (as it was in most of the mid/central US). The Pilots do fine in up to about 4-5" of fluffly dry snow. Once it gets packed, gets sticky/wet, or starts to ice....these tires really show that they are not optimized for winter.
From the 20 other tire threads on here, I would say Steven is right with the DWS being an option you should look at. I would have gone that direction myself if I could have found them locally last year.
