After seeing the springs rust and crumble on the 2G forums, I'm holding off on Comptech springs.

Guess I'll go with A-spec suspension. Its a shame, because when I upgraded my suspension I wanted to go with a cheaper alternative that dropped it more and made it handle better. But after seeing that build quality I am very concerned.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. I mean I might consider comptech powdercoated ones if and only if they can promise me those are the ones I get. Maybe I'll go with TEIN. Not really sure yet. I'm going to put the kit on my car first, and then add wheels/suspension at the same time.

So far so good with the comptechs. If they go bad, I will get the A-SPEC.
No big deal.
Would like to give the dealer back the Comps and originals to get A_Spec, but they won't do it. No problem.
My car still looks great. And rides great.
I don't think I am doing anything else. Maybe wheels, but starting to have second thoughts.

I don't have the silver ones

Comptech, at least this is what the guy told me, reformulated them. So they should hold up, the ones I have sitting in my trunk are pretty solid, I'm just dying to get them installed

Everyone's mentioned they'll take the "A-spec route" but who makes the A-spec springs?

then they really need to keep their site up to date...

http://www.comptechusa.com/store/sus_04tl.html

there is no camber kit listed... other users have installed the springs and no camber kit has been needed.
