18 x 7.5-42 offset wheel

will rims with 18X7.5 10H 42OFFSET fit on a 07 tl acura?

Yes unless the car has the brembo brakes than they will not without spacers

Stock TL is an 8" rim ... whats the bolt pattern?

its 5 bolt think brakes n all r stock... 18" rim

There is lots of 5 bolt patterns .. is it 5 x 114.3?

Don't know why one would want a smaller wheel width, but what is the hub bore size? Seems like it's a 10 hole wheel and will fit a 5x100 and/or a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, so as far as the bolt pattern and +42 offset it will fit. Inner part of wheel will be out 9mm more than stock and outside will be in 3mm. With the 7.5" width neither a 235/40 nor a 245/40 is recommended.

Stick with a 8" min width.

I second an 8" rim or larger, going bigger could cause rubbing problems though, especially if you're lowered. I ordered 18x8.5 +30.

it all comes down to preference but generally you don't want to go smaller than stock. 18 or 19" rims are great for the TL. As for width, I wouldn't go any wider than 9.5, and that is being generous.
