340k, leaking oil. Appears to be leaking between the head and block. Oil dripping font catalyticconverter.

Valve cover is leaking? If only the front one it will be easy and fast to fix.

Personally, I will die fighting to keep my car on the road.

That being said, a leaking valve cover isn't hard - whereas removing the entire cylinder head itself, on the other hand.....that would probably be hard.

We need more info as to whether it's the front or back leaking, and if it's indeed leaking at the cover.

I'm going to clean it up, then take it apart. it's the front, no oil in the back.

Could be valve cover or spark plug seal..
Valve cover seal is super simple.

Spark plug seal on the other hand..
Buy extra just in case.

Regardless..
Since you have it removed..
Replace everything.

Might as well adjust your valve spec.

Shit.. do the rear too..
Only time before it causes you trouble as well.

Is that a type S?
Considering the amount of accumulated sludge, your front valve cover is leaking. The rears are harder but youll be in the same area when you take off the covers and you don't want to tear down twice for the rear if you skip them. Definitely not too difficult.

It depends on your mood. For me unless there was something else that needed to be done with the engine that involved removing most of the same parts - do it. Otherwise...eh.

Plus I'll offer you $50 more than what has currently been posted.
