Window Rattle

From day one the driver side window makes noise. Roll it down and it's gone, dealer has replaced seal but the noise continues. Problem is intermittent but rattles at anytime are a bother........anyone have the same problem and if so what's the fix

Yes I do have same issue.
Took it to dealer: "I hear nothing." That what dealer said, but I do hear it when I drive with closed windows and music is off.
I already paid 65$ to take whole door out and still no result.
Rattles are still there. So I just turn music on and set it as loaud as possible...
Remember Acura TL is not luxury car. It is built in USA = poor quaility.

I don't really sure about where the noise is comming. but adding some silicon grease on seal may help a lot. The problem is that could leave some traces on the window and you have to do it every 2 mobths about.

I had this issue on my 2003 accord, they replace the seal, ok for 1 or two months and rattle come back.

On my Tl it happens but more often with the seal of sunroof.

i have a rattle with the window glass itself too, seems to be the cause of the fact that the window has a little room to shake

^ that ones good, but not the one i was talking about. you basically take apart the plastic door trim around the window and insert some felt. i used some thick foam tape and it worked.

I took mine to the dealer and they said it was a loose harness inside the door.

I think you're right on this one (as far as mine goes). I'll post pics and what I did to fix the rattle on the driver's side door. I'll try to explain without the pics now. One of my rattles came from the edge of the dash near the vent and pillar. I thought it was a loose wire from the remote start and radar detector, which was ran up the pillar. I played around with it and found that it was the door itself! The platic molding from the speaker section has a gap with the molding for the top of the door closest to the front. If you inset felt between this gap, it will eliminate the vibration from the two moldings rubbing against each other. I only got this noise going over bumps.
The second noise was the window glass vibration itself as SilverStoneTTL had mentioned. On the upper edge of the door, there is a plastic/ rubbler molding piece that the edge of the window will hit to seal the glass when the window is rolled up. If you use a flat head screw driver, you can pry this out enough to stick some felt behind it to make it bulge out slightly. When the window is rolled up, it will give a tight fit/ contact with the rubber molding.

Here are the pictures.
I used the fuzzy side of the velcro strip
pull back the rubber molding
stick the velcro on the edge of the rubber lining

For the rattle that seemed to have come from the dash around the A pillar area. I stuffed a thin piece of the same velcro in between the gap.
Let me know if this resolves anyone's rattle issues.

I bought a new 05 TL last week. Have the same rattle on my driver side window as well as a moon roof window rattle and dashboard rattle. I am ready to trade it in. A car of this quality should not have any rattles ever, let alone when it's brand new. I plan to contact the dealership this week. Let me know if you hear of any other solutions.

I've had this squeaking/rattling since about Month 3 of ownership. I took it in for servicing about 5 times but it was never fully fixed. I've lubed it up a bunch of times with silicone grease which helps in the short run but as mentioned by sebounet2005 you have to reapply the grease it after a few months.
