What is this hole?

My mechanic disassembled the transmission again as despite changing rear main seal I still had the leakage. He checked it and says it seats correctly and there is no leakage around. However he noticed a hole just above the torque converter cover and it looks like the oil is leaking from there.
What is this for? Is there anything missing?

Have done some additional research. And it seems nothing is missing there. However the question what is it for still remains.

That hole is nothing, but there is an o-ring right below it, behind that cross print, behind large aluminum plate.

I believe that is a valley drilled in the block that leads from the area in between the cylinder heads to allow for drainage. Also, there is an oil passage o-ring above the rear main seal (behind the cover plate) that tends to leak. Both the rear main seal and the o-ring should be replaced to avoid having to go back in there, along with resealing the cover plate with Honda bond.

Can you please show me it on the diagram. I cannot find the number. My mechanic reseated the rear main seal, however it seems the oil still drops under the car.

The o-ring replaced. Unfortunately it seems the oil is still leaking....somwhere 🤷
I'm a little bit tired with this issue. Especially that it seems my mechanic again overfilled the tranny and need to take care myself.
