What the hell is this Noise?? (Video)

I am getting this noise usually at very low speeds in the parking lot I wont try and explain it too much just watch the video but it sound like its coming from inside the console area inside the car but its hard to tell. I had my car at Acura yesterday I dropped it off the night before and of course they couldn't replicate it so I stopped in after work to take a drive with the tech and what do you know NO fricking noise. Then after driving home in my apartment complex I heard it again, conclusion the car must be warm before it starts acting up. I'm going to try and get it to Acura when its warm before the 22nd when my factory warranty expires!! ANyways does anyone have the slightest clue?

Had a similar rattle/knock/whatever in a Ford custom van one time. Found a deep well socket someone had lost putting the thing together. <g>

Sounds to me like something rolling in a plastic area when you move side to side - turn left, it rolls to the right (and probably stays there until you turn to the right and it rolls left).

Know that's not a lot of help, but just see if you can find where it's the loudest - copilot would be a good thing. <g> Once you find the loudest place, that would give you a good idea where to look for whatever is loose.

Sounds like something is under your cupholder? I have old CD's in my glovebox that do that, hell I'm going to get them out now.

Did you dissect the center console? I wanna say under the cupholder is a flat spot for something to perfectly roll around under.. IIRC.

I have not taken apart the center console yet I didn't want to mess with it until the warranty is up on the 22nd. It doesn't sound like some random part though sounds like something that has a purpose, hard to explain

Heck if I know, I'd take your camera when you go to the stealer to show them the vid, in case they can't replicate it again.

1. I know you haven't, but has anyone else had a reason to take apart the center console?
2. What TSBs have been done on the car?
3. Are you original owner?
4. Does it only happen when you swerve/turn? What about going over bumps?
5. Have you adjusted the p-brake cable?

Sure sounds like a socket rolling back and forth under the console.

Good luck, let us know.

Well that could have gone better. I got the metal strips off up until the very top and the could get not get the damn things to pop out I thought for sure I was going to snap/bend the strips. I was still able to get the cup holder out even with the strips hanging but I saw nothing below. I didn't want to attempt driving until I could get the strips off so I gave up for the night and put it all together. Not to mention the end of the damn metal strip scratched the coating of the leather on my passenger seat GRRRR!

The top part will pop out. You do have to give it a firm, steady tug...and yes, it will seem like it's about to break.

Any luck yet?? Almost sounds like the wheel lock socket is in the bottom section of the arm rest. Only say that because tire place put mine in there one time after they had said they put it back in the trunk. Instead it was in the lower armrest compartment floppin back n forth making a similar sound.

Is there a picture of the back of the trim piece I want to see what the clips look like, are they they same as all the others or are they hooked like it says in the HELM manual? When I was tugging on them it looked like they were really attached to the radio bezel.
