Weird noise coming from upper pulley (Video)

Okay I have a 2006 Acura TL 6-speed. On cold start ups + when its cold, it makes this gritty whining noise right above the upper most pulley. I cant zero in on the source but here's a video for the more experienced people. I'm far from mechanical so please if anyone suspects anything or knows what's wrong with it, please advise. It pains me. Whatever "details" I have are in the description of the video. Thanks guys!!

That doesn't sound good. Flex the auto-tensioner back and forth several times and see if the noise changes. If it doesn't, take the belt off and see what happens. Most of the times it seems to be a bad auto tensioner.

sounds like a power steering pump... either going bad or you got air in the fluid... Is it low by any chance, maybe a leak somewhere

hopefully it's the tensioner, it looks like two smooth pulleys (not ribbed) just below the power steering pump.

but it sounds a lot like a bad pump though (a bad electric water pump for computer applications to be exact).

My car just started making a sound similar to this as well. It happens when the car is first started, and lasts for about five to 10 minutes, then seems to go away. We have had a few rather cool days here in Tampa, FL and this is when I first really noticed it. It sounds horrible (like metal scraping together). I also have the PS pump whine going when its cold, but goes away once the car warms up. I am going to do the O-Ring replacement on the inlet hose tomorrow, and change out the PS fluid with new OEM fluid while I am at it. The PS fluid looks a little brown and appears to have some bubbles in it. I really hope this takes care of it. I'll post back once everything is done and the car has sit for awhile (probably re-post sometime Tuesday).

FYI, when they did the PS Safety Recall, it included the O-ring placement (or at least it was supposed to). Many members discovered that the dealer cut corners in this part of the recall....

There is power steering residue all over the pump. I'd recommend a reseal and if that doesn't fix it then a new pump.
