VSA light causing Car not to start
VSA light causing Car not to start
Good Evening All:
I started the car on this morning and drove out of my driveway. I came to a stop sign about 50 meters from my driveay and proceeded through. As I was driving through the stop sign, the car sounded loud and started to jerk a little. I looked down, and the VSA indicator light was on as well as the Malfunction Indicator Lamp. I pulled over to the side of the road not even 30 meters from going through the stop sign and turned the car off. When I tried to turn the vehicle on again, it would turn, but never start.
The vehicle has been towed to a the auto shop and I have not received word on the exact cause for the problem.
Has anyone had this happen before? If so, what was the outcome and was it costly?
This latest issue is yet a series of issues I have encountered with my '04 TL this year alone.
One other thing. My trunk has not opened in over year. Even when you push the button and have someone pull up, it still does not open. Is anyone experiencing this?
Regards,
Courtney

I don't know about the not starting, but you should be able to open the trunk by reaching through the back seat to the manual release.
There's also a switch in the glovebox that disables the trunk button and key fob, check to see if that isn't the problem.
