VSA and ! Light

I just had my clutch changed by my mechanic and after the install the VSA light and ABS light came on.

After running a diagnostic test, the scanner found a bad driver's side speed sensor. After installing the speed sensor, the abs light and VSA lights turned off (even before running the scanner).

After a few miles of test driving, the VSA light and ! light came back on and stayed on. We ran the scanner again and the scanner said "sensor" not specifying which one.

The light turns off every time i restart the car, but comes back on within a few minutes of driving. Can anyone help?

The car accelerates and brakes normally still. I've read about other's app sensor going bad, but they have problems with their brakes and say their cars jerking. I don't know where else to look.

researched some other forums and it may be the neutral posion memorization that needs to be reset. will try to reset the code with my bluepoint scanner and follow the neutral postion reset procedure

After changing your Speed sensor you need to calibrate your sensor.

well how i did is with the gna600 cost over 600$(clone) but i think some obd scanner could do it or the stealership. it woudnt take more then 45 sec, so ask the dealer they might be able to do it for a small fee.

ah i was afraid i would have to take it to the stealership. they charge an arm and a leg just to scan a car.
