Turn signal went bad

my passenger side turn signal no longer lights up when I turn on the headlight. I thought it was burned bulb but when I activated passenger turn signal, it still worked and flashed.

can you guys tell me what happened? is it a fuse or something?

Same thing on my car. Works when I lock it but not when signaling. I haven't fixed it but I believe it's the relay.

I could be wrong, I was actually thinking that one of the filaments are bad since it's a dual filament bulb, which explains why you get full brightness (flashing) but not half brightness (headlights on). So in that case you'd have to replace the bulb.

interesting, I'll check the brightness level tonight. The last time I checked, it did appear a little bit dim. But that may be just me imagining it.

yes, it does. I'm starting to think it is one of the filaments. I will put new bulbs in and check to see if they are indeed due to the bulbs

Start with the bulb. Pull the left one out and put it in on the right and see what happens. Could be an easy fix.
