No photos but fairly easy if you've done it before on any car:

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-problems-fixes-117/changing-spark-plugs-639382/

Here's a pic with the coils/plugs out:
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/122-diy-105k-service-timing-belt-water-pump-spark-plugs-thermostat-%2Apics%2A-784622/

After coil removal I blow out the area befores removing spark plug. I also use a rubber hose attached to the top of the plug to get it started and never-seize on the threads. Don't over-tighten the plugs.

Rock Auto-NGK 6994 $9.77 each + shipping.
Use code 65984515480936 in the where did you hear about us and get an additional 5% off parts until 10-11-11.

Check other part stores for their current price.

You need a spark plug socket which will have a rubber 'gripper' to hold the spark plug in the socket when removing it. A few different lengths of extensions. A swivel, and a 3/8" drive ratchet. With the right extensions it will be a very easy job.

The entire job is basic hand tools. You can remove the strut brace bar to give you more room to work. I don't think I did but most do.

One thing to remember, if you're using a torque wrench to tighten it, it becomes invalid if you're using a swivel. Use anti-seize on the spark plug threads. Just a dab, not much required but it's a necessity on aluminum headed engines like the TL. Thread the plugs in as far as you can by hand before using a ratchet.

Plugs should come pre-gapped. It doesn't hurt to check though. If you drop one or bang one, recheck the gap.

I agree with turbonut, it's a great idea to blow the hole out before removing the plug.

I just did it and did NOT remove the strut bar. It only got in my way on one spark plug on the right rear of the engine. If you remove the strut bar I think it would make life easier!

Take your time...do it on a cool engine and just rest on it and take it slow. I think I did all 6 of mine in 45 minutes. Fronts took 10 minutes and 35 for the back 3.

Is 105K a realistic interval for our spark plugs? IMO That sounds a bit high....

No problem with that mileage. I've posted this before, due to my lack of scrutiny, the daughter's Maxima had 137,000 on the OE plugs, no problems before they were changed and ran the same after they were changed. They've come a long way in ignition/plug design.

I just replaced our plugs at 208,000 miles. We bough the car with 54,000 miles and I have never changed or had them changed. I didn't feel any difference but I'm sure it needed it..lol
