I recently purchased a 2007 TL S-Type. Everything seems perfect except for the fact that the truck release button inside the car doesn't seem to be working. Anybody heard of this? (Note: the button on the key does indeed work).

 

There's a switch inside the glovebox that turns off the trunk release button... see if that's the problem.

there is a switch in the glove box try that.
