Transmission shutter

Transmission shutter
I have an 06 tl, and the transmission shutters from 1st to second at light acceleration, it has 117k miles on it, it only does it from 1st to second, just wondering if this is a symptom of the recall acura did on the second gear on these trannys.

I suggest a search. There are a hundred or more threads on this. More info would be nice like the fluid you're running and the last time it was changed. There are 2 common things that cause most Honda transmission failures, pressure switches and the stock fluid.

just changed fluid, used Honda genuine dw-1, as far as pressure switches I have not replaced, ive only had my tl for 5 months, and I am still working on getting it up to par, I added some tranny doctor shutter fix and it seemed to help somewhat so im thinking it the tc.

I am having similar issues in a 07 140K miles bought it used and have not been able to determine when the fluid was last changed was thinking about just changing it anyway. Then I started noticing the shudder. Other than the shudder at 1st and 2nd transmission is smooth.

Mines smooth as well for a vehicle with 118k miles, just the shutter, I really think it has something to do with the torque converter, I added some friction modifier, to mine, and it helped a lot, the shutter is less frequent and not as hard, and the Honda dw-1 did seem to help it, I really didn't know what other fluid to add, from research genuine Honda seemed the way to go.
I have had a shutter issue from 1 > 2 and 2 > 3 for around 20k miles. Yes I have done pressure switches numerous drain and refill with primarily redline type f, I think i threw some d4 in there but not much. I also installed a transmission oil cooler and inline filter.
I never thought about the friction modifier option, If I recall correctly the redline type f has no friction modifier.
Any forum experts have any thoughts on this and if that makes sense for me to add the modifier? IHC?
