I have a 06 tl 3.2l and I am looking to replace my transmission. Can I swap with an 07 TL?

You posted in the second generation TL (i.e. 1999-2003) forum but you claim to have a 2006 "TL 3.2l", so I'm confused, which is it?

According to one of the cross reference sites I look at, the 2007 automatic transmission for the base 3.2 liter TL models will fit the 2006 3.2 models. That said, I've heard at least the 2007 3.5 liter TL-S models have a different mounting interface, and I believe some folks have said that holds true for the 3.2 models as well.

Help us out by clearing up which car you actually have.
