Transmission help

Just a quick question: I'm hoping all of you can relate.

I have an 05 TL, and it has around 72k on it. It's been good to me all these years and I haven't had any MAJOR problems with it. My transmission, on the other hand, seems to be acting up. I'm assuming the majority of you have ridden in some sort of older accord. You guys all know the sudden drop in rpms when you go from 1st to 2nd in those things (nothing below the expected rpm during say idling, but a drop in the sense that from 1st to 2nd it just...feels unnatural?) It isn't smooth, but rough and almost forced - can be felt with a little foot on the throttle? You guys know what I'm talking about???! It's frustrating trying to explain...!!! Anyways, I HAVE THAT. I just did a flush and I can't seem to get rid of it! 2nd to 3rd, the car shifts normally - smooth and PERFECT. THAT DAMN 1st to 2nd gear change...just isn't the same anymore........................................... ........................ya guys feelin' meeehh?!?!?! lol

THANKS ALL!!!

I hope I'm not jacking your thread but

I dunno if it's just because I just had a 08mdx loaner that shifted smooth as butter, but my 07 tl-s alway's seemed to have rough shift's at lower rpm's from day 1. Now after a week with the mdx I really notice how harsh the shift's are. It seem's like when I give her more gas (like 1/2) and a higher rpm the shift is smoother.........

nah man, it's kewl. that's exactly what i'm talking about! except mine seems to be progressively getting worse...seemingly that is. light foot on the gas pedal and the shift almost seems out of place...why go up as high as 3k (ish or sometimes a little below) and then shift? ecu learning my typical driving habits? i think more or less NOT...why why why...? anyone?

when you say FLUSH do you mean you changed 3 qts of trans fluid- or did a 3qtsx3 times method? or a machine at a shop?

What fluid was used- ONLY Honda ZR1 is approved- dextron will kill your trans

Do you get a slight shudder feel, or slipping of the clutch as it shifts?
What happens when you run it full throttle getting on the freeway?

05 carries many of the same gen2 problems with clutchpack failure~
