I've owned this car for about 9 months since I got it now and I've done about two tranny fluid changes in the past few months and recently I've changed both pressure switches. I've used some Lucas stop slip earlier to try to help a jerk I get at times from 1st to 2nd gear and it seems that it helped it, but at times I still get a jerk when My foots on the gas pedal hovering at about 2000 rpm, then take my foot off the gas pedal before it shifts into second. Other than that, the transmission seems to shift okay.
Do any of you guys have the same issue with the TL? I feel like when I drive it, I have to control the gas pedal to let it shifts smoothly into its gear. Does anyone else have this feeling or issue when driving the TL? Is it in the TL's nature?
I'm just curious about why my second gear is the issue. At random times it jerks, especially when the car is cold (winter weather in Canada) and I first start it up and drive. It starts to get better after it warms up.
What might be causing this issue? I haven't truly inspected my tranny mounts and I'm not sure if it's that. And my throttle cable have been tightened so not sure if it's that. I don't know if my rear mount is shot or anything as well.
Should I go another tranny fluid change with some Lucas and hope it helps? Or is the fate of my tranny just going to an end?
I have the money to replace it but I just want to know what I can do to help it.

 

what ATF did you use?

most people here will recommend you to do the 3X3 flush with red line or new Honda ATF. Also do the pressure switch and replace the ATF filter.

 

I've done 2x3 already and just used new Honda ATF.
Pressure switches have been done.
Filter I haven't done. Not really the most handy guy out there.

 

I had the same problem with mine after i did the 3x3 and replaced the filter it has stopped but at times when cold it does do a jerk but it feels more normal than before.
