Winter storage

Am about to put my baby in the garage for the winter, i looked at the youtube videos on winter storage.
i just want to know if you are storing for the winter and what your preps are.

Some of you might asked why am i putting an all wheel drive car away for the winter, well this is when i get to do mods, cleaning and upgrades and plus i have a winter beater

Over the winter i am replacing the rims and tires with Niche verona m150 19x9
am also replacing the shift boot because there is a small cut in it, shift knob stays because i love it.

you dont have to do anything.

i'm serious. my car does not get driven for months at a time. it starts right up EVERY time.

make sure battery is good.
up to you if you want to leave fuel in it.
i do, a month or two wont deteriorate the fuel lines

plus, it sounds like you are going to be working on it. THAT's not the same thing as storing it.
you're working on it, moving wheels around and most likely jacking it up and maybe even moving it from time to time.

Noticed that you are from Toronto, I also store my car through the Winter months and have done this since new.

Fresh Oil and Filter.
Full tank of gas with StaBil added (fuel stabilizer)
Ctek smart charger connected.
Switch Summer wheels to an old set up to prevent my Super Sport from flat spot ( you can over inflate your tires instead).
Full detail....wash ,polish, wax, power wash under carriage and apply Rust Check.
Car Cover............until April .

I have no idea what you're so worried about happening to your car during winter when you take the thing through automated car washes...

Wow, never realized people had to put a Daily Driver away for the winter.
Can't fathom the idea of living somewhere that would have such a miserable winter. Of course, I wouldn't live in Florida either.
