Tranny Fluid Flush?

Tranny Fluid Flush?

My friend works at Jiffy Lube and i was wondering if i should go there to get my tranny fluid flushed and replace the tranny oil with some oem one from honda?
is there any filter i have to change ? do i have to change preesure switch and all that ?

i have a 2007 acura tl type-s

i wouldn't trust any type of flush for either the transmission or the engine. there can be some very adverse effects on sealed parts and future oil/fluid integrity.

Don't have it flushed, just have the fluid changed if it's time. You did not mention history or milage on your car.

i got the car at 45k now it has 47k should i change the fluid?

If it's been awhile do the 3x3 change. Use 3 quarts of OEM fluid 3 times in a row. You can research all info on it in the 3G garage. If you feel that you don't need to do a 3x3 change then you can do a regular 3 quart change every 15k-20k miles. <<That's my preference and I'm going 102k miles strong. I also replaced my pressure switches at 100k miles so that's your call on those.

what is the pressure switches and where is it located and is ther any filter i gotta change ?
