OMG, WHAT A FUCKING JOKE! Jesus muther of god, how the hell can you price a car like that? Today I went to costco only to see a shiny Audi A4 outside the lot and it was stickered price to be starting $32,400+. It was a QUATTO 1.8T engine base. 20Mpg city/28 hwy.

Ok, nice looking...no navi, uh...don't know what other big option they have but doesn't seem like much...granted it has quattro but come the fuck on...underpowered piece of shit 1.8L T engine (i don't give a fuck about boosting it..cause u can't factor that shit into the price tag)...basic ass car for over $32,000

WHoly shit, I thought my CLS 6speed was pricey w/navi/260HP, but fuck me, I got me a fuckin' DEAL. I mean I use to beat on the issue of this 6speeder CLS being this and that ghey this ghey that...but come one, I got me a BARGAIN!!! And not to mention I parked in front of a Toyota 4Runner..and I saw 2 garage remotes on the front visor...???? So glad i got teh homelink (which also does rolling codes) included into my price...damn, imagine the OPTIONAL HOMELINK on the BMWs??

I have to admit that the CLS6 has everything i want and is priced so right...just don't get why it won't sell...damn, what a pity!

The 1.8T is not as fast as the CL stock, but the quality is amazing and there's lots of mods to be had. But, again, this is an apples to oranges comparison.

Audi's are the most overrated and overpriced cars on the road. Goes to show what a good marketing campaign will net you. AWD is a useless option to most drivers. And as far a quality is conserned no reputable consumer reporting agency will agree that Acura doesn't makes a better car.

let it die already, the A4 is an excellent car and a good value. could the 1.8T use more umph, yes, but so could the 3.0 V6. but, comparing the A4 to the CL makes absolutely ZERO sense unless you're talking $$$ only. what the A4 lacks in power, the CL lacks in road handling ability. i like the CL for many things, balance and handling are not on this list.

I like audi and all but i cant stand how all bmw and audi owners are so fuckin stuck up. My friend bought a 97 1.8t quattro with 60,000 miles, and all he can say is how great it is and how much better of a car it is than my 03cls6speed. That is complete bull. I would take my 03cl over that 97 audi anyday. Its been in an accident, needs a paint job bad, and the linkage is all fucked up, but for some reason he thinks he has the best car on the fuckin planet. I really like audis, but hes gettin on my nerves about this and his car isnt even that nice. If i wanted something that handles and drives better than a cls i would get the evo and stomp on all the damn a4s.

I have never driven a single Audi that has great handling. The A4 3.0 sport I drove was decent, but nothing compared to a 330i sport or G35. My friend has a 01 S4 manual and I was on his ass in the turns, but he would pull on me in the straights. This was in a 330i steptronic. When I took my Maxima last time, I was quite a bit faster than him.

slightly off topic but I heard an article that said a lot of people with 4wd or awd tend to get into accidents because they assume their setup is immune to the elements. I believe the article was mostly about SUVs but I've heard and read about plenty of people who get into accidents in AWD/4WD or FWD in the snow/rain because of stupid shit they do.

RWD might be the safest since you can't go anywhere in the snow. j/k.

i did not get in an accident in the winter, some idiot hit me while he was doing 90miles/hour on the highway, right in the left quarter panel...a FWD/RWD car would have spun and lost control after the impact. The police/tow truck drivers could not BELIEVE that i did not lose control of my car and hit a median.

I'm just very ecstatic to own a CLS6. Seriously, cause in this time of economy, i don't think I can afford higher priced cars with less value...and you cannot disagree that an A4 1.8T model selling for $32,000+ is a joke...quattro or none still, it's quite expensive for what you get..

And the ENGINE IS EVERYTHING..at least when you pay $32000 out the door, you'd expect to match at least an ACURA TLS in terms of performance. As for handling, you probably are right (the ones that have driven the car)..maybe it is better than the ACURA..but I don't see how when you are driving slow anyway...since that damn engine is underpowered for this model line. It is not comparing apples to oranges really because other than the 4 door on the 1.8T A4 and quattro and smaller wheelgap, damn...well...whatever you think...but in reality, money is what counts! TRUE, CLS' didn't sell at all and it's useless to compare the two because obviously A4's outsell ACURA CLS'...but in the end I still feel as though this Acura is really alot of bang for the buck...

AND I have sat in the A4..and the interior is NOT ALL THAT. It's OK...I do like the DUAL CLIMATE CONTROL..and that center cluster with LED info....but other than that, I wouldn't pay THAT MUCH FOR THE CAR..if the car was about $28,000, it's a good deal...$32,400+ is just way tooooo high especially for a 1.8T engine...

You can get a base 1.8T w/Quattro for high $25K. Add in the premium package (for luxury), Xenon headlights...might as well throw in some rear side airbags, and you're sill just a shade over $28K (This is how I would have wanted an A4 configured). I intentionally left out the sport package, junk bose system, and premium wheels because it can be had for a much cheaper price aftermarket and with more customization choices.
