What's up guys, my automatic 2008 TL has about 131k miles on it, bought it when it was nearly 105k been running smoothly ever since. Today I am on my way to the CTA station and I am 2 mins away from my house and I notice the car slowing down and I wasn't able to press the gas pedal for acceleration. Something was up so I started to pull over to the side and my brake pedal was getting harder and harder to press. I parked on the side of the street, however I was still in DRIVE but I was not moving...I couldn't even turn my car off because I was unable to go past neutral to PARK within the gears. Car still not moving, I put up the emergency brakes just in case. I used the little fitting by my Park symbol where I was able to fit something small so I can be able to shift up from DRIVE to PARK and turn the car off. Before turning car off, some of the lights were on and on my display it said TPMS, but I don't understand because my tires were perfectly filled up?

Can this problem be a fuse? TPMS sensor? ABS speed sensor? I truly don't know, I am not much of a car guy but hoping somebody can help here! When I turned the car off I tried to turn it on again but nothing had happened, didn't even hear the battery click or nothing. I had to leave right after this had happened because I was on my way to work, and had to find a different way of getting there. Any recommendations or possible reasons to what has happened?

Check your battery terminals, sounds like it just lost power.
