Tips to remove halfshaft?
Take a med. size screwdriver or chisel with a gradual taper & tap (wedge) it between the transmission case & the inner cv joint & it usually will pop right out. If you feel like you're getting the tool too tight (too much pressure) strike the inner cv joint with a good sized hammer while the pressure is on & then it will pop out, sometimes it takes some common sense about the amount of wedge pressure between the two as I suppose the trans. case could be damaged (stubborn cases) altho Iv'e changed dozens of them without a problem.
Also (don't forget) when you get the new axle in & thru the knuckle be sure & bang (tap, whack) the threaded end to seat the inner end of the axle locked back into place as it can become disengaged the first time cut the wheels backing out into the street.-- Don't ask me why I know this. Johnny

Thanks! I got the driver's side out but man the passenger side isn't cooperating at all.
