What year and how many miles are on your vehicle?
I have the same noise, but the dealer refused to cover it under powertrain. They say it would need to be under the 4yr bumper to bumper, which of course mine no longer has.

I'm wondering if this is the problem I have. I have a squeeking sound but can't solve it, changed tensioner pulley and P.S. pump rings and seals. Is this squeek constant, intermitent? Any more specifics? Much appreciated..
Was hoping someone could help me. I want to find this shim by itself to purchase. The only way Iv been able to find it so far, is with the shim, a new belt, and the timing belt gear pulley which costs way too much and doesn't need replaced any way.
I've had this "squeeking" noise on my 2007 TL for years now. I probably first noticed it a year after I purchased the vehicle new in Nov 2006, but the dealership kept saying they don't see anything wrong with it. Now with the weather getting cold again, it has been louder than it ever has been and the noise does not go away like it use to. I'm going into the dealership tomorrow to put tires on my wife's car, so I am bringing along the TSB 08-031 and 10-035. I'll see what they have to say now. The one thing I don't have going for me any more is that my car now has 79,000 miles on it and is not covered under a factory bumper to bumper warranty any more.
I also would like to note that my wife has a 2006 Honda Accord EX and we have the same problem with her vehicle from the time it was almost new. I took Accord in several times, but they kept saying there was nothing wrong and that it was normal.
Enough is enough now! Stay tuned...

You cant let em bullshit you and say there is no problem when you know there is. Physically show the service writer what youre talking about. Since youre out of warranty now you can try calling Acura corporate and telling them the dealership kept ignoring your complaints the whole time and try to get it goodwilled, but good luck with that.

Finally getting around to my update with the noise I was having...I brought the 2 service bulletins in to the dealership and they ended up replacing the serpentine belt. I no longer have any squeaking noises. The invoice also shows that they replaced the compressor (drive) belt, but he didn't say anything about that. They split the cost with me, so for $28.86, I thought that was fair. The tire thing is a-whole-nother story.
So wait, if the drive and serpentine belt are the same thing, and you split the cost with them, does that mean the dealership got clever here and billed it as two items to get you to actually pay 100%.
That would be messed up!

Hi, Hope you still check in.. I've had squeeling and chirping noises from the motor on my 07 TL, especially before warming up. Did this bulletin fix up the problem at the time? Its coming from the belt area. I appreciate your inquiry. Thanks
I can't speak for everyone else, but the belts that my dealership replaced took care of all of the "squeeling" noises. See the photo of my invoice in the above post.
