should i put a claim

what up people i got a 04 tl silver auto but i got banged up in the front minor repairs that insurance can easly handle but im tired of the car and want a stick shift TL but dont want to lose more money on this one. cause i would have to pay the deductable for them to fix it up. what should i do.is the only way really having an ACCIDENTAL crash that will total the car.

Find the car you want and then crash into that one then buy it from the owner and fix it

having an accidental crash won't help you at all. They'll deduct the deductible from the check they cut (which will be low ball of course) and then you'll be stuck without a car and may even go to jail if an insurance adjuster or the company finds out that it was "accidental".

Do the right thing, get it fixed and trade it in. Yes you will be loosing 500-1000 dollars for the deductible, but you'll either have a TL in good shape that you may still enjoy or have an asset that you can trade in on a 6Spd TL.
