Removing sticker from glass

The quick-lube place I went to put a sticker on my windshield to remind me when the next oil change should be. I tried peeling it off but it does not want to come off easily. What is the quickest/easiest way to get it off? A soap-water mixture?

first nick a corner of it using your fingernail and try to peel it up. Then remove the glue slowly with goo-gone. Make sure that you don't get it on the headliner or pillar.

Probably most auto parts stores, too.
Actually, if you have some rubbing alcohol around, put that on a piece of felt or shop towel and it should take off the residual adhesive if there isn't too much.

The sticker is almost gone. I've been soaking it with goo-gone every few days.

+1 rubbing alcohol - takes it off in a few minutes.

There is a tint goo remover that I saw at an autostore once -- basically turned out to be a goo gone product...

when i had to remove my front tints... goo gone too a little too much effort to get the crud off, and therefore +10 on the singe edge razor... as that little guy just ate through all that gunk -- took about 20 of 'em as they dull easily.

Well I finally got it off. Sat in my car and decided not to come out until it was gone no matter what.

The problem was I had been applying goo-gone over the sticking expecting it to disolve it but that didn't happen, goo-gone is meant for the sticky stuff. So I scratched away at the sticker with a quarter until only the glue was left then used goo-gone and a paper towel and it came off. Now there is no trace of that sticker.

And if anyone puts a sticker on my car again I'm gonna kick them in the pants.

Lighter fluid works good too for anyone else wondering, but I wouldn't use it on a delicate surface or inside the car.
