Remove Lower Grille Housings on '07 TL-S

Searching only tells me how to remove the whole facia and I'm trying to avoid that on my '07TLS. Anyone know if a damaged lower grille/fog light cover can be removed without removing the whole facia? I can reach some of the squeeze clips that hold it in place but not all.

Would appreciate any help.

save yourself the headache and just remove the bumper cover, it'll be easier in the end. other then that if your just removing the grill because its cracked, give it hell it doesnt matter if it breaks any more right?

well if u have the new one in hand you can see if it has any screw holes. If no screw holes then you know whether or not it'll just clip back in. Ive removed this grill before when fixing my fog lights but i cant tell with great certainty what the steps are, the worst that can happen is that youll have to pull the bumper.

Maybe n I mean maybe, since u dont want take off the bumper, wat u could do is take off all the bumper clips n bolts on the bottom, that way maybe u could atleast pull the bumper a little bit out more giving a little more access to the grill. But like I said maybe it will wrk if not take da bumper off!!!!

Thanks, I think I may try that unless someone else that maybe works in a TL body shop has any hints on how to do this the lazy man's way without removing the facia.

Do you have the a-spec lip kit installed? I know on my base '06 the lower grills would come right out if I didn't have the a-spec kit.

No A-spec kit on my '07TLS, bone stock all over. Were you able to reach all of the small squeeze clips? I'm guessing if maybe I can release all the clips I can then hog the rest of it out I may be OK. My concern now would be will the new housing simply press in and clip. It's getting a little frustrating now so hopefully someone can jump in and tell me what I can do other than pull or remove the facia.

It would be possible to reach all of the clips on my 06 base without removing the front bumper. I actually took a picture of the back side of those grills for another member when I had the bumper off so he could see where the clips are located. But you've already got the new grill in hand so you can clearly see where the clips are.

Justinspace. Now tell me how I am supposed to remove that front facia with only one arm. You need an attitude adjustment, not comments on what we who need help from this site.

how are we supposed to know that you're not fully functional?
I merely gave you a suggestion, which was to take off the whole bumper. In which case you would have gotten it done a lot quicker than trying to find the "lazy way out"
