As long as you have the serial number off the back of the radio, take it, and proof you own the car- registration is fine- and the service manager can look it up inthe system for FREE
at the dealer.
Its not out here in public for just anyone-= that would defeat the idea of it being an anti-theft device.

Donuts make goodwill gestures by the dealer a normal thing -for you

in the booklet

When I disconnected my battery for an alarm install, I had the same problem. The lady from Acura informed me that it was in one of the books that came with your manuals. I dont remember which cause i am not at home but i know it is in there along with the navigation code.

It's not in any booklet... It's actually the size of a business card that they originally included with all of your vehicle booklets.

Talking Quick Solution

From the front drivers side seat open the glove compartment and look for the white label with black lettering and a 5 digit code taped to the side of the glove box.

However just cause the card says those numbers dont necc mean it is right. I replaced a battery about a month ago and put the numbers for that card into my nav and radio. My nav came back fine but the radio code was totally off. I had to go the dealership who thought i was basically touched in the head adn watned to do the codes them self which kinda of pissed me off. After he couldnt figure out how to get to the point to the code i showed him and he saw too what i explained. So he had to look it up for me in the computer. Strangest thing was he didnt ask for any kind of proof just gave me the new code i entered it and left about my business.

I got the radio code today, I was told 04's may not need Navi code. They come back without it. Time before, that was my experience just the radio went out.

So I change the battery and the radio works without a code But I don't have the but the 4 digit Navi code! I will have to wait for service to come in tomorrow. BTW hear a guy going in for a 15,000 mile check up of something and they price it at $350! Nice!
