When I turn my ignition on, I'd noticed day light wasn't turned on. Does anyone know if day light has sensor to go on and off automatically?

 

day light? God turns mine on every morning and turns it off every night.



You mean Day Time Running Lights?

Those should always be on when the car is running. If they do not illuminate, there should be a DRL message light in the guage cluster. Could be a bulb or a fuse out if you have the warning light.

 

Maybe you need to touch the max button.

 

in my mdx, the DRL turns on after the car is put into drive then shuts off with ignition.

 

Need to put the car in drive. I'm pretty sure that's what I saw. Do you have your e-break on? Try letting it go and see what happens.

Turn car on (DRL off)
Put down e-brake (DRL turned on)
Turned car off (DRL off)
