Installed the 7443 switchback in the car two days ago and they worked fine. Now I installed some LED foglight bulbs in the car and the switchbacks go out but the weird thing is when you are close to the car they work but as soon as you step away they go out. If anybody knows what is going on and knows how to fix it I would appreciate it. By the way the switchbacks are from V-LEDS and they are hooked up to resistors.

 

LMAO are you serious, when you walk away from the car they dont work and when you are near they do. Man I swear you must be POWDER. That really funny, I hope they can help you with this problem brother.

 

i friend of mine had the same problem. but his worked when they were in shade and as soon as the sunlight hit them they went out. resistors installed and all. they were also from V-leds. return them and get new ones they are obviously a defect.

 

mike421, the new V-leds switchbacks are not a defect. They have a sensor built in that dim the white of the bulb if it senses enough external light source.
Apparently, the new 3-chip switchbacks are the ones that dim the bulb.
