Ok....So I just bought my 2005 TL in June. I have filled up the tank several times.....the thing is....the Owners Manual says that the capacity of the fuel tank is 17 gallons(US), but each time I have filled up, the auto shut-off stops at and around 14.2 gallons...Is this the correct fuel capacity of the tank? Does anyone know what is going on with that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

you are pretty new to this forum, so i'll answer your question. the tank has the 17 gallon capacity, but the rest is vapor area and reserve fuel too.
