Problem with 1157 leds

I've bought two diff sets. And both have the same problem. The polarity is reversed and bc the 1157 bulb has a high and low pin connecter it only goes in one way and not the other. But it does light up when I put it in the wrong way but they don't stay.

Anyone? I know I'm the only one that tried LEDs in the turn signals.

Are you sure they are 1157's or 3157's. I could be wrong on the last bulb size but I do know that there is a bulb similar to the 1157's with those pins but don't quite fit. Why don't you just return them and tell them what's wrong? Where'd you buy them?

Is this the switchback? I ordered a set for my friend and slowly when the turn signal is on it fades from a V2 back into a V1, then eventually burns out. 5 sets later we still have the problem, and its not solved yet. Its because the 1157 SMD switchbacks come in 60 SMD, while the 7743 come in 48 and 60 is just too much.

1157's do come in 48 led. I have them from autolumination. Even vleds doesn't sell the A/W (amber/white) ones anymore. They only sell the type 2 which is A/O (amber/off). I read of one person here using the 60's but when I tried they gave me problems and chris from autolumination told me 60's aren't compatible with our cars.

god dammit...so you're telling me that my 1157 60led switchbacksV2 from vleds arent going to work for my 07 type-s?

i bought them a few weeks ago, and havent had a chance to put them in yet.

**just checked autolumination...are they $27.99 for each bulb? or $27.99 for a pair?**

Nope. He, for about 4 months now and 6 sets of bulbs being replaced is still "trying to fix the problem".

fanfuckingtastic, now i have to eat the 15% restocking fee. this is bullshit.

thanks btw for the info, ack.

**edit**

i like the idea of the vleds V2's, white while lights are on, and amber when turnsignal is applied.

is there anywhere else i can get this set up? i really don't want the white-amber-white-amber turn signal set up.

Nope. Email him and tell him your having a problem. He knows of this too and told me he will "stop orders" until its fixed. He drives a TL so he says and "TESTs them". Just email him and say I am having trouble of the lights changing and want my money back since this is a known problem on acurazine.
