So I’ve got po717 coming up on my 05 tl. I’ve got a cel, vsa light, blinking stability control light and blinking drive light. I replaced the vehicle speed sensor and can only drive 200 feet before it all comes back on. Everything I search comes back to this sensor. Please help.

 

Automatic or manual? The diagnostic charts are different.

The P0717 is an input speed sensor issue. The VSS you replaced is probably the output speed sensor. Here's a pic of the input;


The diagnostic chart wants you to check grounds first, but you could skip straight to doing the ground and voltage check at the sensor. Sensor replacement is the 80% repair anyway.

Hey I couldn’t message you back, don’t have privileges Acurazine says lol but I looked at the diagram on Acura parts website and it shows that the speed sensor on top is the same part number as the bottom one!
