my car trip this light for the first time in 7 months , i thought this p0171 was behind me but it looks like its back again my car has now 67k on it when i was fix it was at 58K. the dealership change out the purge valve senor and a maf sensor the front one by the radiator and i also got that Update software that the tsb stated. i just need the people who had this problem was fix for good to step up and give me some kind of insight wants needed. they wouldnt even give me a valve adjustment because it not covered under warrenty. Any good dealership exp enough to handle this also i purchase the dowstream O2 sensors bank1 and bank 2 i might but those in my self to see if this would fix the problem . thanks guy

I had this on my 07 type s like twice a week. I did the ecu update with my hds and it work it was 83k when I did it now I am on 100k no problem.
